Transcendental Meditation
Advanced Technique Course

About

Tony Nader, M.D., PH.D.

Dr. Nader is a medical doctor trained in internal medicine, psychiatry, and neurology with a Ph.D. in brain and cognitive science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He was a Clinical and Research Fellow in Neurology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the assistant director of the Clinical Research Center at MIT.

He has conducted research on neurochemistry; neuroendocrinology; the relationship between diet, age, behavior, mood, seasonal influences, and neurotransmitter and hormonal activity; and on the role of neurotransmitter precursors in medicine.

Dr. Nader’s interest in exploring the full potential of not only human physiology but also the human mind led him to investigate and study ancient and modern techniques of self-development. For many years he worked closely with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who first introduced Transcendental Meditation (TM) to the world in 1958, and emphasized that this traditional knowledge of TM — and of other related techniques and bodies of traditional knowledge — need to be understood, verified, and developed in the light of modern science.

Dr. Nader is the author of many original scientific publications and books on the relationship of mind and body, consciousness, and physiology.

Course Information

You are invited to receive an Advanced Technique in Transcendental Meditation from Tony Nader, M.D., Ph.D., the Harvard/NIH-trained neuroscientist who Maharishi appointed as his successor and chief administrator of the global TM organization.

Advanced Techniques enrich the “transcending” process during meditation, and accelerate the benefits of TM in daily life. Dr. Nader will be teaching the Advanced Techniques course out East this Summer to up to 20 people during the weekend of Saturday, July 29, and Sunday, July 30. (There is also the possibility of a second option on Saturday, 8/5 and Sunday, 8/6.) For scheduling purposes, couples can learn at the same time.

There is no cost for you to participate in this course.
